In a nut shell
December 6, 2009The first few days of December was a killer. Schedule was really hectic but I’m just thankful Christmas is so near and the year is about to end. This year was the abosulute pits with all the things that went wrong with my life but I’m thankful, I’m still hanging by a thread.
Bestie Zenen has just been inducted as JCI Bai Lawanen Local Organization President and supportive friend that I am, I was encouraged to join the org even though my hectic schedule leaves no time for an active social life. I hope that once we have a schedule transition in January, I would have more time to join the many projects of Bai La.

It was exactly a week ago when Zen invited me to go to Iligan to attend JCI Iligan’s Induction. Since it happens to be my rest day, I went with her and the other Bai La ladies. We arrived in one piece. Unfortunately friends from Kagayhaan Gold figured in an accident in Manticao. Good thing no one died or was seriously hurt but the picture below paints a thousand words.
My other best friend, Jing, finally gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Heaven. Hers was not an easy birth and they had to perform emergency cs on her. I still think it could have been avoided had her obgyne been more vigilant in monitoring her progress. It also sucks that Maternity Hospital doesn’t want her to take advantage of her Philhealth benefits and she has to leave Heaven in the hospital for a week. I hope that they will be able to settle it.
